if you've ever seen the movie Crash, there's a quote that goes
"It's the sense of touch. In any real city, you walk... You brush past people, people bump into you. I think we miss that touch so much, that we crash into each other, just so we can feel something."
Isn't it ironic that cities isolate people more than small towns? in a small town, everyone knows everything about everybody. up here, there are people that just disappear. i've heard that some can go weeks without ever talking to anyone. and it makes me wonder, that once in a while, if those that bump into me in the street, are only doing it because that might be the only human touch they feel.
a diligent and creative labor of love spanning decades; i log things i can't forget, so i don't forget them.
